Receiver with RX and PLL with diode matrix

This receiver can be made in 3 steps:

1. A simple receiver, which works with vco. That you have to tune the frequency in by ear or frequency counter.
2. If wanted, you can make a PLL, and via a diode matrix, program the frequency you want to use in 10Khz steps.
3. The full version, containing a LCD display with a program PIC processor, that enables it to scan.


This receiver, has been published in the Danish radio amateur magazine OZ, and has been built many times, so it has been tested in the field for several years, with very good results. It also has the advantage, to start cheaply, and later, add further modules until complete.

The full version can scan in 3 modes:

1. stop when the squelch is open.

2. stop when the signal strength reaches a set level

3. stop when there is 2400 hertz tone burst received.. It can scan favourite wx-sat frequencies or all wx-sat frequencies. Or you can manually search through the band in 10 Khz. step.

The 455 Khz.MF. adjusts between 40 - 80 Khz, by the use of MF coil's. The sensitivity is about 0.5 yv at 20 db s/n.
There is NO CHARGE, to download and build it.
